MAGNA-TILES and MODS Make History with a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS Achievement

Creativity reached record-breaking heights at the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) in Fort Lauderdale, FL! 

With support from MAGNA-TILES, MODS officially achieved the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the world's largest magnetic tile mosaic, bringing together creativity, collaboration, and thousands of magnetic tiles for one unforgettable build. 

This mosaic transformed MAGNA-TILES pieces into a colorful scene inspired by the Florida landscape, complete with ocean waves, a sunny shoreline, tropical plants and more.

Building History, One Tile at a Time

This record-breaking mosaic was more than an impressive build. Hundreds of volunteers from the local community came together to help bring it to life, demonstrating what's possible when creativity and collaboration meet hands-on play. 

From placing the individual tiles to seeing the finished mosaic come together, the experience celebrated the imagination, problem-solving and teamwork at the heart of meaningful play.

And this time, play didn't just create something incredible, it made history.
