What is Toy of the Year (TOTY)?
The TOTY Awards are the “Oscars of Toys.” The Toy Foundation™, opens in a new tab gives them annually. Finalists come from over 600 nominations. They recognize top toys, games, and licenses across 17 categories. MAGNA-TILES Downhill Duo won the Preschool category. This category focuses on toys for 3-5 year olds.
Being a TOTY winner, opens in a new tab represents the highest innovation in the toy industry. Experts and professionals rigorously evaluated the winners. This means they meet the highest standards for safety and quality. Toy Association members, retailers, media, and the public voted for category winners.
If that sounds like a big deal, it is. We were the only magnetic building brand winner this year. We are humbled to receive our first TOTY award.
