Community Events Through Meaningful Play
Community events are the heart and soul of any neighborhood. MAGNA-TILES is headquartered in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, which includes the Romeoville, Illinois community. We had the pleasure of attending Romeoville’s annual “Family Fun Night” and “Romeofest” this summer. We set up colorful booths filled with MAGNA-TILES sets, inviting children to join in the fun. As soon as the children reached for the tiles, their faces lit up with excitement. They started to build, experiment, and collaborate with one another, all while having an absolute blast.
But MAGNA-TILES sets aren’t just for kids. Parents and caregivers often get in on the action too! We loved hearing the stories of families bonding over Meaningful Play and working together to build their own MAGNA-TILES creations. There’s nothing better than seeing first-hand how generations come together to explore, discover, and learn through play.
Lasting Impact on Us
Our community event experiences have taught us that play is a universal language. Play has the power to unite people regardless of age, background, or language. We introduce MAGNA-TILES sets to families who may not encounter them otherwise. It is heartwarming to see the joy it brings.

Committing resources to our community has been an incredible experience. We’ve seen smiles and heard laughter. We witnessed the power of play to bring people together. We can’t wait to do it again.
