In 1997, Rudy Valenta introduced the first MAGNA-TILES sets to US teachers. They immediately saw the potential for these activities in the classroom. The brand became known as an essential teaching tool through word-of-mouth. Now, magnetic building is a staple in classrooms and playrooms worldwide.
Educators remain essential to our story today. We support them with tools that inspire learning through play. In our Learning Hub, opens in a new tab, you will find free downloads. These include lesson plans, activity sheets, and kindergarten readiness guides. Developed with educators, these resources help children build foundational skills. They support literacy, math, STEAM, and problem-solving through hands-on play. These tools are ideal for classrooms and home learning.
We partnered with AdoptAClassroom.org to help underserved communities. In 2023, MAGNA-TILES donated $60,000 and 600 sets to Chicago classrooms. We are excited to continue our partnership in 2024. This is part of our commitment to spreading the joy of Meaningful Play.
